Travis Robinson’s face tells a story.

The recovering drug addict is coming up on 800 days sober after a yearslong battle with opiates and benzodiazepines. To mark the big milestone, Robinson has shared a stunning set of photos showing what his face looked like before and after getting clean.

“I’m finally alive,” Robinson tweeted on his 745th sober day. The tweet has since racked up more than 847,500 likes. His transformation is the latest inspiring image to show the effects of recovery — recently, one couple posted the results of their sobriety from methamphetamines.

Robinson shares selfies on his social media, which serve to document his stark change after spending a year and a half in rehab, and improving his diet, he said in a Reddit thread. He also uses the app I Am Sober to track his progress.

In comments, the Southern California resident opens up about the difficulty of his transformation. “Hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” he tells one Reddit user.

Photos of himself before getting sober show a gaunt face with hollow eyes. In more recent pictures, his skin is clear and full of color and his eyes have a notable spark to them.

“It’s really f - - king amazing that I went from looking like that everyday to looking genuinely happy and loving life. I even have a full time job now that I absolutely LOVE,” he says of his job in the restaurant industry. “Life is truly amazing.”

In the replies to his original tweet, others shared their progress in recovery, as well as words of encouragement.

“This is absolutely amazing. Not only can you see it in the skin, but you can see the difference in your eyes. Congrats dude,” tweeted @AcidicJonny.
