The following are incident and offense reports from municipal police departments in Shelby County from April 5 through May 12:

Alabaster

May 5

-Theft of property third degree from the 800 block of Ninth Street Northwest. A wallet valued at $10, money in the amount of $140, a checkbook valued at $1 and various cards were stolen.

-Information only from the 200 block of Park Place Way.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 500 block of First Street Southwest. A set of Queen sheets valued at $40 was stolen.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 200 block of Buck Creek Plaza. An HP laptop valued at $450 was stolen.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Maple Street, Maylene.

-Information only from the 700 block of Sixth Avenue Southwest.

-Domestic incident from the 200 block of Fran Drive.

May 6

-Information only from the 200 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway. A DeWalt impact wrench valued at $169 was stolen.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from the 600 block of First Street North.

-Domestic incident from the 100 block of King James Court.

-Animal complaint from the 200 block of Dolphin Circle.

May 7

-Criminal mischief third degree from the 300 block of Lacey Avenue. A Caterpillar piece of construction/industrial equipment sustained $75 in damages.

-Identity theft from the 200 block of Lane Park Circle.

-Information only from the 900 block of Third Avenue Northwest.

-Harassment from the 600 block of First Street North.

-Identity theft from the 200 block of South Colonial Drive.

-Information only from the 1800 block of Woodbrook Circle.

-Domestic incident from the 3500 block of Pelham Parkway.

May 8

-Information only from the 100 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway.

-Property damage from the 7700 block of Shelby County 17, Maylene. A 2014 Ford Focus sustained $5,000 in damages.

-Trespassing notice from the 9900 block of Alabama 119.

-Information only from the 1400 block of Windsor Court.

-Possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from the 300 block of 11th Avenue Southwest. Marijuana (3.35 grams), a marijuana brownie (32.16 grams), a Glock 22 and a mason jar were confiscated.

-Fleeing or attempting to elude, resisting arrest from Seventh Avenue Southeast. A crack cocaine pipe was confiscated.

May 9

-Possession of marijuana second degree, DUI-controlled substance from the 240-mile marker of I-65. Suspected marijuana (3.7 grams) and a mouth swab were confiscated.

-Information only from the 600 block of Warrior Drive.

-Domestic violence third degree from I-65 North.

-Property damage from the 1300 block of Old Boston Road. A Dodge Caravan, landscaping and a single occupancy dwelling were damaged.

-Discharging firearms in the city from the 400 block of Old Highway 31. A Glock .40-caliber with one magazine was confiscated; three .40-caliber dispensed shell casings, two 9-millimeter dispensed shell casings and assorted .40-caliber ammunition were recovered.

May 10

-Theft of property second degree from the 100 block of Cohill Drive. A Glock G23 firearm valued at $650 was stolen.

-Theft of property first degree from the 1700 block of Woodbrook Trace. A 1998 Lexus ES300 was stolen.

-Property damage from the 7500 block of Shelby County 17, Maylene. Four mailboxes valued at $150 apiece were damaged.

-Information only from the 300 block of 11th Street Northwest.

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Wixford Trace.

May 11

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 100 block of Winterhaven Drive. A VISA credit/debit card was stolen.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Fourth Place Northeast. A 2012 Kia Forte EX sustained $1,000 in damages.

-Identity theft from the 200 block of First Street North. A VISA credit-debit card was stolen.

-Information only from the 200 block of Jasmine Drive. A check was stolen.

-Receiving stolen property first degree from the 8200 block of Alabama 119. A 2010 Nissan Rogue valued at $7,500 was recovered.

May 12

-Possession of marijuana first degree, drug paraphernalia from Simmsville Road and Second Avenue Northeast. Marijuana and a black scale with marijuana residue were confiscated.

Confiscated was a mason jar with marijuana 22.5 grams, amphetamines/Methamphetamines 13.3 grams, other drugs 3.00 dosage and 5 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy) valued at $210.

May 7

-Burglary-non-residence-force and larceny/theft-theft-miscellaneous, less than $500 from Epsibeth Road (church). Stolen was an unknown make and model audio board valued at $200. Damaged were two wooden door and door frames valued at $400.

-Public peace – HC harassing communications from Samford Street (residence/home).

-Dangerous drugs-synthetic narcotic-possess and weapons-possession of a concealed weapon without a permit from Overland Road (highway/street). Confiscated was other narcotics 2.3 grams of synthetic cannabinoids inside a “Scooby Snax” bag and Taurus 9mm valued at $110.

-Property damage from Montevallo (highway/street). Damaged was a 1998 Toyota Camry valued at $2,000.

May 9

-Domestic incident from AL Hwy 25 (parking lot/garage).

-Domestic incident from Wilson Drive (residence/home).

-Assault-domestic-simple assault-family from Hicks Street (residence/home).

-Stolen vehicles-auto theft from Highway 119 (convenient store). Stolen was a 2007 Nissan Sentra Blue valued at $2,000.

May 10

-Assault-reckless endangerment RE from University Park Drive (highway/street). Damaged was a fired .357 sig casing, a fired bullet projectile and a hold in residence ceiling valued at $500.

-Assault-domestic violence – third degree – criminal mischief and assault – domestic -coercion (harassment/intimidation) from Cherokee Street (residence/home). Damaged was a refrigerator valued at $500.

May 11

-Stolen property-swindle from Cambridge Circle (residence/home). Stolen were Ebay gift certificates valued at $3,500.

Pelham

May 3

-Theft from the 3100 Block of Pelham Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen, not recovered was a wallet and a cell phone valued at $930.

May 4

-Theft from the 2700 Block of Wellington Drive (residence/home). Stolen, not recovered was game consoles valued at $450.

-Fraud from the 400 Block of Cambrian Ridge Trail (residence/home). Stolen, not recovered was currency valued at $118.

-Breaking and entering a vehicle from the 100 Block of Cove Lane (residence/home). Stolen, not recovered was a wallet, card, license and permit valued at $20.

May 6

-Theft from the 1000 Block of Cameilia Ridge Drive (construction site). Stolen, not recovered was a showers, lights, mounts, detector, alarms, material, button, fan and cash valued at $3,629.87.
